Playa Hotels & Resorts Executives Participate in 2019 CHRIS and HOLA Conferences

Ft. Lauderdale (May 20, 2019) – Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. (NASDAQ: PLYA, “Playa”) has announced that its top senior executives are participating in the 2019 CHRIS (Caribbean Hotel & Investment Summit) and HOLA (Hotel Opportunities Latin America) conferences being held May 20-23 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Playa is the only U.S. publicly traded company dedicated solely to the all-inclusive space that will be attending. The conferences provide an opportunity to discuss tactical sales, marketing and margin enhancement solutions for owners as well as Playa’s management, branding, and distribution capabilities aimed at maximizing partner’s cash flows and returns on investment.

“As we look toward the remainder of 2019 and beyond, these conferences continue to play an important role for Playa and our partners. In addition to providing us a platform for sharing Playa’s vision, they also allow us to source new opportunities for future diversification and expansion within Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Bruce Wardinski, Playa’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

“The last twelve months have been transformative for Playa. We expanded our footprint in the Caribbean by first adding five new resorts in Jamaica through our business combination with Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited. We then expanded our reach while lowering our customer acquisition costs through our alliance with global hospitality leader, Hilton. These deals are two of many stepping stones in Playa’s continued growth, and we look forward to further expanding our Caribbean presence through key relationships forged at these conferences.” Wardinski continued.

Fernando Mulet, Playa’s Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer will join Mr. Wardinski at the conferences and will participate in the following sessions:

HOLA, Tuesday, May 21, 2019
The Regional Leaders Outlook (10:00AM – 11:30AM) – Fernando Mulet, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer
