CREATING BREAST CANCER AWARENESS ONE DEPARTMENT AT A TIME

On October 21, 2020 Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall celebrated Pink Day in an effort to spread awareness for breast cancer with each department doing something to honor the widespread diseases.

• The resort’s Entertainment department put on a heartfelt dance performance called ‘Break Through’ which honored all survivors and those fighting this dreadful disease.

• Housekeeping transformed their cleaning carts completely pink to symbolize the tk. No detail went unnoticed from the pink towels to the pink broom.

• Team Bar brought their flair with a pink beverage shaker and pink spoon in addition to a special bright pink beverage refreshment.

• Team Engineering joined the fight against breast cancer and made a beautiful pink ribbon design out of hammers, nail and cord.

• The Culinary Team was just too sweet to beat.

• The signature pink cupcakes from the pastry team were a hit with the staff members.

• Sales and MSE turned up and transformed their office pink to show the fight is on with sequins and flair.

• HR’s pink ribbon photo prop could be seen throughout the resorts all day long.

The resorts had fun spreading awareness, encouraging associates to be proactive in the fight against breast cancer.
