today that Paola Gomez, Director of Sales for Hilton La Romana has been awarded
the 2019 Rising Star Award Caribbean
presented by International Society of Hospitality Consultants in Miami Beach,
Florida. Now in its ninth year, the accolade, which was announced during the
2019 Caribbean Hotel & Investment Summit, recognizes a new generation of
young, standout leaders throughout the Caribbean.
Ms. Gomez began her career at
Playa Hotels & Resorts, a leader in the all-inclusive segment, in 2013 as a
Sales Executive and through her commitment and perseverance, she quickly
climbed the ranks to become the youngest Director of Sales in the company’s
history. Within her new role, Ms. Gomez is responsible for all aspects of sales
for Hilton La Romana, the 862-key all-inclusive resort which includes both family-friendly
and adults-only properties.
